Work with Us!
Our mission is to create opportunities for young queer artists to gain exposure, leading to jobs and careers. If you are a young queer artist, and are interested in working with us, reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org for any of the opportunities listed below. Requirements (if applicable) are listed on each posting.
All listings are currently unpaid and are considered volunteer work until Rad Mag gets funding. Positions are only open to LGBTQ+ identifying youth ages 16-25.
Interested in writing articles for us about topics relevant to queer youth? You have a few options!
1. Become a consistent writer for Rad Mag, posting 2-3 blog posts per month. Send 1-2 writing samples along with 2-3 article ideas to email@example.com, and we will get back to you!
2. Pitch an article idea! If your idea is approved, your work will be published on the blog. Send article pitches to firstname.lastname@example.org
3. Submit an already written piece (related to queer youth) to email@example.com and wait for a response.
Home Page Artist
Do you have a talent for digital artwork? This opportunity is for you!
We are looking for digital artists to design the home page banner. This opportunity requires that you create a banner that aligns with a theme assigned by the editor-in-chief, and other than that, it's your creative choice what to create! We want pieces that represent both Rad Mag and your individual style.
If you're interested, send 2-3 examples of your digital artwork to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are selected, you will discuss the process with the editor-in-chief, and once the piece is created, you will be credited along with links to your social media accounts.
Do you have a talent for graphic design? We need you!
This opportunity calls for folks with an eye for graphic design, and can creatively interpret an article to tell a visual story.
Responsibilities will include creating 2-3 graphics per month for blog articles. The graphics will also be posted on social media for promotion. You and your social media will be consistently credited, along with anything else you might want to be included.
If you're interested, send 2-3 samples of your graphic design work to email@example.com.
